The Tormek T-1 Morakniv 1891 is a special version of the first real knife sharpener for home chefs, the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener. As the original, this machine is equipped with the patented angle setter to choose the sharpening angle flexible between 8 and 22 degrees for each side of the knife. It comes with the fine-grained diamond wheel to sharpen kitchen knives to professional sharpness and the composite honing wheel to remove the burr that occurs during sharpening and to polish the edge to a razorblade sharpness.
The Tormek T-1 Morakniv 1891 has distinctive design elements that set it apart and make it a real eye catcher in every home kitchen. Rather than the original oak handle of the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener, this version features a handle made of Swedish birch in the iconic deep red colour of the classic Morakniv handles. To honor the partnership, the solid zinc gray housing is stamped with the collaboration logo: Morakniv x Tormek. With over 150 years of combined expertise between both brands in crafting knives and sharpening tools, this machine serves as a homage to Swedish craftsmanship and design tradition.
